Counselling

A safe, confidential space to explore, heal, and grow.
Counselling tailored to your needs — grounded in a person-centred approach.

I’m a qualified therapeutic counsellor (CPCAB Level 4 & BACP Member) offering counselling to young people and adults. I believe that having a safe, non-judgemental space to talk can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and feel more connected to yourself and others.

At present, I provide volunteer counselling at:

  • The BRIT School – supporting young people through challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem, and identity.

  • London Friend – an LGBT charity where I offer counselling to clients exploring issues around sexuality, gender identity, relationships, and wellbeing.

My approach is person-centred: I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, creating a supportive and empathetic environment where you can explore whatever feels important. I have an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training, ensuring safety and confidentiality in all my work.

FAQ

  • The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. You can share what’s brought you to counselling, and I’ll explain how I work. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we go at your pace.

  • Yes. What we talk about in counselling stays between us. The only exception is if I’m concerned about your safety, or someone else’s — in that case, I would discuss the next steps with you.

  • That depends on your needs. Some people come for a few weeks to focus on a specific issue, while others find ongoing counselling helpful for deeper exploration. We’ll review together as we go along.

  • No. Just bring yourself as you are. Counselling is your space to talk about whatever feels most important.

  • It’s really important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor. If you decide I’m not the right fit for you, that’s okay — I can help you think about what might work better.

  • Payment is made by bank transfer before each session. Reduced-fee spaces are available for those who need them — please feel free to ask.

If you’re ready to explore how counselling could help, please get in touch. I’d be happy to talk you through the process and answer any questions you have.
